What a day!
The Year 3s had an absolutely action-packed day, bursting with laughter, creativity and just a tiny bit of glitter (which we're fairly sure will be turning up in classrooms for weeks to come!)
Throughout the day, the children split into their classes and got busy designing their own bags using fabric pens, decorating celebration-themed biscuits (some looked almost too good to eat... almost!) and taking part in a colouring competition. A huge congratulations to our winners: Chloe, Ayesha and Scarlett.
In the afternoon, things got even more entertaining as we teamed up for the Great Toilet Roll Fashion Show! Using only toilet paper and plenty of imagination, the children designed, created and proudly modelled their outfits on the catwalk. Let's just say Project Runway has some serious competition!
After school, everyone experimented with scratch art, creating some fantastic colourful masterpieces. We then took the party outside for a dance-off, where there were plenty of energetic moves (and perhaps a few questionable ones from the adults too!), before cooling down with a well-earned ice cream.
The adventures didn't stop there! The Year 3s headed off on a duck hunt to find a special duck to take home before sitting down to enjoy a delicious dinner of pizza and wedges. Finally, after such an exciting day, everyone settled down with popcorn and a film – the perfect ending to a brilliant Year 3 Big Night In!
