Have the issues with the building impacted on my child's learning?
No. Teaching and learning has not been directly impacted by the building issues
 
Has my child's health and safety been at risk in the past?
No. Where the school has identified any problems that may have an impact, it has immediately put in place measures to rectify them.
 
Who is responsible for the building work?
The DfE have been responsible for the original building project and remain responsible for this rectification work. They will appoint a contractor to undertake this work.
 
Who is paying for the building work?
The DfE will be funding this project. The school will not be funding any part of the rectification work.
 
Will my child be safe?
Yes. The school will ensure that building takes pace in designated areas and children will be kept separate from these.
 
Will events such as Sports Day and Christmas Performances be cancelled?
No. All events are expected to go ahead but there might be some changes to how we put them on.
 
How do I enter the school at drop off and pick up?
You will enter the school in the same way from the front and will be directed past the bike shed, across the front of the building and along a new pathway to the side of the school. Entry between the playground and Pound Hill Infant Academy will be the same although there will be some additional gates.
 
How do I come to the school office?
The same way as you do for drop off and pick up but you can follow the new pathway past the shed and around the large play equipment to the reception door.
