Welcome to Year 5's webpage!
This year we will be reading four exciting books as part of our topics.
We will be reading:
Autumn 1 - 'Floodland' by Marcus Sedgwick
Autumn 2 - 'The Firework-Makers Daughter' by Phillip Pullman
Spring Term - 'Skellig' by David Almond
Summer Term - 'Cosmic' by Frank Cottrell-Boyce
For each of these book studies your child will create and maintain a journal with all their reading responses. It would be wonderful if you could provide your child with a copy of the book, however please could you ensure that they do not read it in advance of our studies.
