Every two weeks, Year 5 are given new spellings to learn for their test.
In the two weeks after these lists have been given out, the children will learn any rules linked to their spelling pattern or spelling area. They will use taught strategies to help them recall these spelling patterns.

- Spelling Scribbles
- Spelling Doodles
- Spelling Bees
- Nonsense Poems
