Parents' FAQs

Can I find out who is in my child's class?

Due to GDPR we are unable to give out lists of children but please be assured PHIA and PHJS are working closely together with regard to transition. The class allocation was based around having trust in the advice, ability and knowledge of the Year 2 teachers at PHIA in knowing their children and families, which in turn supported PHJS in identifying class mixes that work both for learning and the children's pastoral and social development.

What shall I do if my child has a prescribed medication that needs to be kept at school (inhaler, auto-adrenaline auto-injectors..)?

The medication will be need to delivered to the school office on the first day of the Autumn Term together with completed Request for School to Administer Prescribed Medication which can be found here http://www.poundhilljunior.w-sussex.sch.uk/website/administering_of_medication/160748

How can I order school lunches?

The school lunches are cooked daily on the premises. Our Catering Manager, Mrs Lester, creates a delicious menu before the beginning of every term which then is emailed to parents via ParentMail. The school lunches menu for Autumn Term will be sent out soon.

To place an order for your child simply select from the options of each day, fill in your child's name and class and return the form by emailing it to Food4Thought@poundhilljunior.org.uk
